Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
Welcome to the official Learning Management System (LMS) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology.
This LMS is established to support Outcome-Based Education (OBE) by providing structured access to course materials, assignments, assessments, and academic announcements for all semesters. The platform facilitates effective teaching–learning processes, continuous evaluation, and academic interaction between faculty and students.
Students are required to access their respective Year/Semester courses, enroll using the credentials provided, and regularly follow LMS updates related to coursework and assessments. Faculty members utilize this platform for course delivery, evaluation, and academic communication
This course provides an introduction to electrical and electronics systems. Topics include network theorems, AC fundamentals, magnetic circuits, transformers, DC motors, and an overview of semiconductor devices (diodes, transistors) and digital logic.
A Renewable Energy Sources course provides a comprehensive overview of non-conventional energy technologies, focusing on harnessing solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and ocean energy. It covers technical, environmental, and economic aspects, emphasizing the design, application, and sustainability of renewable systems compared to fossil fuels for future energy needs.
